Occupational Health Technician
Location: Rosyth, Scotland
Salary: Up to £26,000 FTE (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time | Monday to Thursday | 8:30am – 4:30pm

We are currently working with a well-established Occupational Health provider to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to join their team in Rosyth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in healthcare, fitness, emergency services or the military who is looking to build or further develop a career within Occupational Health.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Technician, you will support the delivery of high-quality occupational health services by carrying out health surveillance and screening activities, ensuring accurate record keeping and providing an excellent service to employees.

Duties will include:

  • Undertaking health surveillance including:
    • Audiometry
    • Spirometry
    • Blood pressure monitoring
    • Urinalysis
    • Height, weight and BMI measurements
    • Drug and alcohol testing
  • Accurately recording health assessment information using occupational health systems.
  • Preparing, maintaining and calibrating equipment to ensure it is fit for purpose.
  • Working within established clinical protocols and escalating any concerns appropriately.
  • Supporting workplace health promotion initiatives.
  • Assisting with general administrative and departmental duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

You will be organised, professional and confident working independently, with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
